Raw Materials
The raw materials of mineral cat litter are mainly natural or processed minerals, including bentonite, silica gel, zeolite, etc. Through different ratios and processes to meet the needs of moisture absorption, agglomeration, deodorization, etc., taking into account the economic and high-end markets.
Production steps of mineral cat litter production line:
1. Raw material processing: the main raw materials are sodium-based or calcium-based, diatomaceous earth or other minerals, the raw materials will be crushed into fine powder by crusher, Raymond mill and other equipments, through the magnetic separator to remove the iron filings and other impurities, to ensure that the raw materials are pure.
2. Mixing and formulation: Mix the powder with binders (such as starch, cellulose), deodorants, antibacterial agents, etc., and adjust the proportion according to the performance requirements of cat litter.
3. Pelleting and molding: Use disc pelletizer to press the mixture into granule.
4. Drying and curing: use rotary dryer to remove moisture, natural cooling or cooling tower to avoid cracking of granules.
5. Sieving and grading: sieve out the oversized or too fine particles to ensure that the finished particles are of uniform size, collect the sieved fine powder and recycle it into the raw materials.
6. Packing: Sealed according to weight, using moisture-proof materials, such as PE bags.
