The selection of raw materials for water-soluble fertilizer directly affects the solubility, nutrient balance and application effect of the product. The following are the common raw materials for granular water-soluble fertilizer.
Water soluble fertilizer production process
1. Raw material pretreatment: large amount of elements: nitrogen, such as urea; phosphorus, potassium and other water-soluble compounds. Trace elements: iron, zinc, boron, etc. Need to ensure high solubility. Additives such as pH adjusters, citric acid, etc. Pre-treatment: raw materials need to be crushed to 80-100 mesh to ensure mixing uniformity and dissolution speed.
2. Ingredients: Design the N-P-K ratio and micronutrient ratios according to the needs of target crops. Use mixer to mix, mixing time 20-30 minutes, to ensure uniformity ≥95%. If it contains liquid additives (such as humic acid liquid), it should be added by spraying and prolong the mixing time.
3. Pelletizing and molding: the moisture content of the material is controlled at 8-12%, compressed into cylindrical particles (diameter 1-4mm). Pressure range 20-50MPa, particle density affects the dissolution speed (the lower the density of dissolution faster).
4. Drying and cooling: drying temperature of 60-80 ºC (to avoid melting of urea or deactivation of trace elements), moisture down to ≤ 2%Countercurrent cooler to room temperature to minimize the risk of subsequent agglomeration.
5. Screening: vibrating screen grading (such as 2-4mm qualified products), coarse particles crushed for reuse, fine powder return material and then granulation.
6. Coating: Spray hydrophobic layer (such as paraffin) to extend the storage period, but may reduce the dissolution rate.
7. Packing: Aluminum foil bag or PE bag lined with moisture-proof film, filled with nitrogen to extend the shelf life.
8. Storage: Storage humidity ≤60%, avoid mixing with alkaline substances.
