1. Pre-operation preparation: Inspect the condition of the cutting blades, screen plate aperture, and transmission system; remove debris from the feed opening/chipping chamber, such as residual wood pieces or metal. Wood with a diameter exceeding the equipment's upper limit must be pre-split.
2. Startup and Operation: Start the machine under no-load conditions. Press the start button and observe whether the drum is rotating in the correct direction. Run the machine idle for 1-2 minutes. Feed wood pieces with their ends aligned into the feed opening, maintaining continuous feeding to avoid intermittent feeding causing the drum to run idle. Use a wooden stick to assist in pushing short pieces.
3. Shutdown and cleanup: Shut down the machine in an orderly manner, stop feeding, and wait until the wood chips in the crushing chamber are completely emptied before stopping the main unit. Remove any remaining wood shavings from the machine.
