Lon Exchange Resin Granule Production Line process
1.Raw material preparation
Monomer: styrene, etc., initiator: BPO, etc., porogen: toluene, etc., and functional group precursors
2.Polymerization reaction
The monomer is dispersed in the aqueous phase in the presence of a dispersant, and the polymerization is initiated by heating to form spherical resin particles. Temperature, stirring speed and proportion of cross-linking agent need to be controlled.
3.Functionalization
Sulfonation: introduction of sulfonic acid groups, amination: introduction of quaternary ammonium groups or primary amine groups.
4. Washing
Remove unreacted monomer, porogenic agent and by-products.
5. Transformation:
Convert the resin into specific ionic forms (e.g. Cl-type, etc.).
6. Drying
low-temperature drying to avoid structural damage, commonly used fluidized bed drying or vacuum drying.
7. Sieving
grading according to particle size to ensure product uniformity.
8. Packing
Aluminum-plastic composite film (such as PET/AL/PE) or high-barrier nylon bags to prevent moisture and oxygen penetration.
