SOP fertilizer production methods
(1) Mannheim method. Potassium chloride and sulfuric acid are measured continuously into the reactor, the reaction generates solid potassium sulfate, discharged and cooled that is the product. Tail gas (HCl29%) by drying, purification and dust removal, cooling, after absorption to produce 30% to 33% of hydrochloric acid.
(2) Conversion method with potassium chloride and magnesium sulfate as raw materials. Potassium chloride and magnesium sulfate according to a certain proportion of ingredients, in aqueous solution, at room temperature under the conditions of a period of conversion reaction, after the reaction by the solid-liquid separation of soft potassium magnesium alum (K2SO4-MgSO4-6H2O), the mother liquor can be used for the production of magnesium chloride. The mother liquor can be used to produce magnesium chloride. Soft potassium magnesium alum and potassium chloride are dosed according to a certain proportion, and potassium sulfate is generated by two-stage transformation reaction at room temperature, and then solid-liquid separation, drying and packaging to get the finished product of potassium sulfate.
