1. Preparation of raw materials Source of worm dung: Separated worm dung after transforming organic waste by black gadfly larvae (water content ≤20%, no impurities). Binding agent: humic acid, bentonite (add 3-5% to enhance the rate of pellet molding). Nutrient supplement: grass ash (supplement potassium), bone meal (supplement phosphorus), microbial bacterial agent (such as Bacillus subtilis).
2. Pre-treatment of raw materials Crushing and sieving: Crush the insect manure with pulverizer to 80-100 mesh fineness (if it contains lumps, it should be broken up first). Mixing and blending: according to the formula, put the worm manure and auxiliary materials into the mixer (such as horizontal double-axis mixer), and add water to adjust the water content to 25-30% (conducive to granulation).
3. granulation process Disc pelletizing method (suitable for small-scale production): put the mixture into the rotating pelletizing disc, adjust the humidity by spraying water, rolling into 1-4mm particles. Extrusion granulation method (high efficiency, suitable for large-scale): use ring die granulator or flat die granulator, through high-pressure extrusion molding (pellet diameter 2-6mm adjustable).
4. Pellet post-processing Drying: After granulation, the granules are sent to the dryer (such as drum dryer), the temperature is controlled at 60-80ºC, and the drying is done until the moisture content is ≤15%. Cooling and sieving: cool down to room temperature by cooling machine, vibrating sieve to remove the broken powder (can be recycled for re-pelletizing), and keep the complete granules. Coating (optional): Spray moisture-proof agent or slow-release film material to improve the storage and the durability of fertilizer.
5. Packaging and Storage Finished pellets are bagged, sealed and labeled using an automatic packaging machine.
